Kathy Price is a Washington-based artist whose work arises from deep listening--to body, nature, and the subtle currents of inner life. Her paintings are intuitive rather than planned, guided by a felt sense of what wants to emerge. Rooted in a long relationship with nature, stillness, and creative play, her work invites viewers into a space of presence, softness, and quiet vitality. Kathy's art has become less about expression and more about embodiment. These pieces are meant to be felt--like a pause, a breath, or a moment of remembering. This showing marks a gentle unveiling of work created from a place of freedom, trust, and reverence for the living world. These medicine women began surfacing in her studio in the past few years. She believes they go to the home that recognizes and resonates with them.
